The train journeys through the wild landscapes of Scotland, between lush green hills and rugged mountains. Inside, Edwardian elegance, cashmere fabrics and tartan patterns wrap you in refined comfort.
Enjoying an afternoon tea, you head north, passing through Perth, Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Blair Atholl.
The gentle rolling hills of Perthshire give way to the majestic scenery of the Highlands and the ancient forests of the Cairngorms National Park.
For the night, the train stops at the peaceful village of Boat of Garten, on the private Strathspey line.
After a refined dinner, the evening continues in the Observation Car, enlivened by musicians playing Celtic tunes.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, ideal for conversations over a good local whisky.

KYLE OF LOCHALSH
This morning, depart for Inverness, the Highlands’ capital.
During lunch, the train takes one of the most beautiful railway lines in the United Kingdom, heading to Kyle of Lochalsh.
You pass through Achnasheen, climb up to Luib Summit and cross the Achnashellach forest before descending towards Strathcarron. A visit to the splendid Attadale gardens, at the heart of the Macpherson family estate, awaits you — between a Japanese garden, a water basin and a sunken flowerbed. Refreshments served on site.
Another option: stay on board until Plockton, a charming coastal village. There, spot wild seals, admire the bay with views of the Applecross mountains, then enjoy a traditional welcome in a local pub, with a good whisky.
Or else, choose a guided hike near Kyle of Lochalsh: wooded trails, views of ancient castles, red deer and golden eagles in the background. The walk leads to the peaceful waters of a freshwater loch.
The day ends at Kyle of Lochalsh, gateway to the mystical island of Skye, where the train stays overnight.

AVIEMORE
A morning departure from Kyle, the train travels back towards Inverness before reaching Aviemore.
Once there, several activities await you on the Rothiemurchus estate: fishing, clay pigeon shooting or wild swimming (on reservation). For a more relaxing experience, opt for a forest bath, a guided and sensory walk in the heart of nature. Refreshments are served in the hunting lodge, where you’ll discover the history of the estate.
Return to the train for lunch, then an afternoon visit to a renowned Speyside distillery, with a private tasting.
Alternatively, a leisurely bike ride will take you along the River Spey or around picturesque lochs.
In the early evening, find the train again at Boat of Garten. As it heads towards Perth, a truly exceptional dinner awaits you to celebrate your final night on board. End the evening in style with traditional dances in the Observation Car — a memorable end to your journey.

The Royal Scotsman train operated by Belmond is one of the most luxurious luxury trains in the world. It was first launched in 1985. In 1990, the original carriages were removed and replaced with a new set of Pullman carriages, renovated by James Park Associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The itineraries may be subject to changes, due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control or due to different issues that may arise during abnormal operation in the management of the capacity of the rail network in which the Tourist Trains run. In these cases, the Organizer will adopt the appropriate solutions to continue the organized trip, with no additional charge for the customer, and will inform them. If the customer continues the journey using the solutions provided by the Organization, it will be considered that they tacitly accept the aforementioned proposals.
The Organizer assumes no commitment regarding the punctuality of its trains, since its objective is not simply the transport of passengers, but rather leisure, pleasure, and respect for an established tourist and service schedule.
