Day 1 - LONDON

You arrive in London, the capital of England. You will be transferred to your centrally located hotel. After settling in, enjoy your free time exploring the Kensington district. Stroll through the Palace gardens where you will discover the Princess Diana Memorial, the Peter Pan statue, and the elegant Orangery, a former greenhouse where you can savour traditional English tea.

Meet the group in the early evening for a welcome dinner.

Day 2 - LONDON

After breakfast at the hotel, set off on a guided tour of London’s must-see monuments: the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Parliament. This half-day tour also includes an aerial view of the city from the London Eye, the city’s famous Ferris wheel.

In the afternoon, enjoy your free time to explore the beautiful city of London. Dinner is at your leisure to end the day.

Day 3 - THE UNIVERSITY CITY OF CAMBRIDGE

This morning, take the first train of your Scottish train journey. Along the way, make a stop to visit Cambridge, home to the second oldest university in England. A local guide introduces you to the various colleges and their history dating back to 1284. After this short visit, a special bus takes you to Peterborough where you board the train towards York.

Upon arrival, settle into the hotel and enjoy your free time. Dinner is at your leisure to end the day.

Day 4 - YORK

Today, explore the historic city of York, located in the Northeast of England. Discover its ramparts and medieval streets during a guided tour. Cross 2,000 years of history, from Roman origins to the Viking conquest, which left a lasting mark on York.

The afternoon is free to wander around the city. Dinner is at your leisure to end the day.

Day 5 - ACROSS THE MOORS

Today, embark on a journey aboard a historic steam train on the North York Moors Railway. After a short bus ride, board a train that crosses 22 viaducts and 14 tunnels all the way to Carlisle, one of England’s most picturesque railway lines, part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Just 15 km south of Scotland, Carlisle shares a closely linked history with Scotland.

Enjoy your evening at leisure and dinner at your leisure to end the day.

Day 6 - ALONG THE SCOTTISH BORDER

Your guide will share plenty of stories and anecdotes during your train journey. Today, cross the invisible border into Scotland through the port city of Glasgow. Discover the Victorian architecture and Art Nouveau style that define Glasgow. After dropping off your luggage at the hotel, enjoy your free time in this European capital of culture. End the day with dinner at your leisure.

Day 7 - THE WEST HIGHLAND LINE

Weather permitting, enjoy a short city tour of Glasgow before heading to the Scottish Highlands. Aboard the West Highland Line, you’ll enter the wild beauty of Scotland. Considered by many as the most beautiful railway line in the world, it crosses valleys, moorlands surrounded by mountains, and majestic lochs.

Your day finishes in Fort William, gateway to Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest peak, and the Glen Nevis valley, home to the Steall Falls waterfall. Dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 8 - INVERNESS

Today, discover Scotland’s must-see sights using several types of transportation. As a tribute to Harry Potter, start with a train journey over the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct towards Mallaig. Then, take the ferry to the Isle of Skye, world renowned for its spectacular mountains. On the way, observe the Red Hills and cross the island to the Trotternish peninsula. The Kilt Rock viewpoint offers a stunning view over the Mealt Falls cascading into the sea.

After exploring the island, return to the mainland and take the train to Inverness. Enjoy the picturesque scenery before settling in and dining at the hotel restaurant.

Day 9 - EDINBURGH

Your final train journey through Scotland takes you today from Inverness to Edinburgh, along the coast. Upon arrival, your guide will take you around the city centre, with the Royal Mile stretching from Holyrood Palace to Edinburgh Castle. After this guided tour, you check in to your hotel.

End your adventure with a farewell dinner at a city restaurant.

Day 10 - RETURN TO FRANCE

After breakfast, enjoy free time to explore Edinburgh at your own pace. Discover the charms of the Scottish capital before heading home. Make the most of this last opportunity to visit iconic sites or do some shopping.

Un voyage formidable, merci à Romane et Salomé pour nous avoir préparé un programme personnalisé sur 11 jours dans de belles ville d'Europe : Vienne/Venise/Rome/Florence/Milan avec des trains de nuits , de superbes Hôtels idéalement placés, de précieux conseils de visite ou de restauration, une réactivité exceptionnelle. Bref un voyage l'esprit tranquille, réglé au millimètre avec un rapport qualité prix très attractifs. C'était notre première expérience et nous projetons déjà les voyages suivants avec eux. Le voyage était superbe, merci vraiment pour ce beau programme que vous nous avez concocté. Les hôtels, toujours très proches des gares, étaient très pratiques et de très bonne qualité. Tous ont proposé de superbes petits-déjeuners appréciables. Les paysages traversés sont magnifiques et nous en avons pris plein les yeux. Seul petit bémol, je ne comprends pas pourquoi vous ne nous avez pas commandé le beau temps !! Il aurait fait un beau ciel bleu pour le Bernina Express, je pense que les paysages auraient été superbes, mais la neige au col de la Bernina avait quand même un certain charme au mois de juin !! Super moment sur le bateau avant d'aller prendre le Gothard Panorama, et merci pour la réservation de la table, c'était top. Pour les villes, nous avons surtout apprécié Lucerne qui est une ville magnifique. Peut-être que Lugano par très beau temps est également agréable, mais du coup nous n'avons pas pris de train à crémaillère pour admirer le paysage, le ciel était trop bouché. Voila de bonnes raisons de revenir dans ces coins une autre fois ! Merci encore pour tout, et pour le professionnalisme de votre société que nous recommanderons. Au plaisir pour une autre escapade.

Nous venons de terminer le circuit Transsibérien Aventure de Moscou à Pékin, adapté avec soin selon nos préférences, et nous en sommes ravis ! Nous venons de faire le circuit "glacier express"a travers la Suisse, en passant par Montreux, Zermatt, Coire et Zurich. Une organisation parfaite avant et pendant le séjour, avec de très bons conseils.Un voyage très paisible à travers des paysages magnifiques. Il n'y a rien à redire, aussi bien concernant les hôtels que les trains, le Travel pass qui permet de prendre tous les transports, le programme détaillé sans mauvaise surprise. Merci pour votre sérieux et votre amabilité. Un très belle première expérience de voyage en train, à refaire sur une nouvelle destination dès que possible.

Nous revenons tout juste du "grand tour des sommets " en Suisse, ce fût fabuleux, les paysages sont à couper le souffle, les trains du programme sont spacieux et le personnel aux petits soins, avec une préférence pour le Bernina et son fantastique bus avec la belle découverte du lac de Côme. Nous avons apprécié tous les trains et l'organisation du voyage. Yulia a tout bien organisé et m'a rassurée sur tout le déroulement du séjour, de ce traintrip, une façon bien originale et agréable de découvrir et parcourir la Suisse qui est magnifique ; Malgré tous les voyages faits, celui-ci tient une place particulière pour un voyage si particulier. Sans oublier les hôtels, très propres avec une bonne literie. Notre voyage n'aurait pas été aussi réussi sans Yulia que je remercie. Je recommande vivement ce circuit, rien à redire.
