Name:“Mizukaze” literally means “fresh wind.” The Twilight Express was a formerluxury train loved by the Japaneseto which the Mizukaze pays tribute.
Kyoto
In the evening, check-in at the 5* hotel, very comfortable and conveniently located for boarding your luxury train in Japan the next morning.

Okayama
Departure: 10:00/10:30 am – From Kyoto, begin your adventure by discovering the superb panoramas of the Seto Inland Sea, dotted with a multitude of islands stretching out to the horizon.
Lunch is served in your compartment by the staff.
Around 2:30 pm, enjoy a stop in Okayama for a three-hour excursion in this city rich in history and culture. Afterwards, reboard your Japanese luxury train to savor your first dinner in the magnificent dining car (2 sittings). Japan’s most talented chefs prepare a refined menu highlighting local products.

Unnan
Early breakfast in your compartment after a restful night in your private, luxurious, and comfortable cabin.
8:00 am – Arrival at Shingi station. Set off for a day of excursion to discover Unnan and Matsue. These two towns, located around Lake Shinji, offer breathtaking natural scenery and remarkable cultural sites such as Matsue Castle.
5:00 pm – Return to your luxury train. Enjoy some relaxation before your elegant dinner in the dining car. From the impressive panoramic car, you can admire a splendid view of Mount Daisen, one of the most beautiful volcanoes in Japan, sometimes nicknamed the “Mount Fuji of the West.”

Higashihama
Early morning arrival at Higashima station. Enjoy breakfast in a particularly bucolic setting before starting your exploration of Tottori and Higashihama on Japan’s west coast. Discover the impressive Tottori sand dunes and explore the natural sites of Higashihama, protected by UNESCO.
11:00 am – Return to the train, waiting for you at Tottori station.
Relax in your sumptuous compartment as you watch the landscapes go by, awaiting lunch in the dining car. The train slows down so you can admire the impressive Amarube viaduct.
5:00 pm – Arrival at Tokyo station, transfer to your hotel.

Kyoto

End of your luxury train journey in Japan.
