After breakfast, set off to discover Jakarta, with a visit to the National Museum, a true treasure trove of Indonesian history. Then, immerse yourself in the colonial atmosphere of the old town of Batavia, where the alleyways and buildings bear witness to the past. In the early afternoon, you board the train bound for Bandung. End the day with a free evening and an overnight stay in Bandung.

After breakfast, head out on an adventure to Kawah Putih and its white crater, where turquoise waters contrast with the surrounding volcanic landscapes. Then, unwind at the Cimanggu hot springs, a true haven of peace. In the afternoon, you visit Candi Cangkuang, an ancient temple by the lake. Finish the day with the tea plantations of Pangalengan.

Today, enjoy a free day around Bandung to explore the wonders of West Java at your own pace. Depending on your train schedule, start with the ethereal Kawah Putih crater with milky waters, then treat yourself to a relaxing break at the Cimanggu hot springs. Then, make your way to the Bandung station for your train journey to Yogyakarta.

Today, explore Yogyakarta at your own pace and immerse yourself in the cultural richness of this city. Visit the magnificent Borobudur temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Finish your day by enjoying a typical meal at a traditional warung and admire the sunset over the Prambanan temple.

Begin your day with a morning excursion to the Borobudur temple, a masterpiece of Buddhist architecture. Then, explore the picturesque villages by bike, including the Candirejo village. In the early morning, take the train to Surakarta, also known as Solo. A journey of about 1 hour that lets you admire Javanese landscapes properly. On arrival, visit the Mangkunegaran Palace, a testament to the royal heritage of the region. Continue your discovery with the Sukuh and Cetho temples, famous for their unique architecture and spiritual atmosphere.

Enjoy a free morning in Solo to explore the city. In the afternoon, board a train to Malang, a journey of about 7 hours through magnificent scenery. Upon arrival at the end of the day, settle comfortably into your hotel. You can stroll through the lively streets of Malang or enjoy a relaxed meal at a local restaurant.

Start the day at your own pace, in the calm and beauty of Malang. In the afternoon, you visit a tea plantation, where you learn about the cultivation and harvesting process. Take part in a tea-picking experience, a typical activity that puts you right at the heart of agricultural traditions.

Today, you discover the Coban Pelangi waterfall, where the water falls majestically into a lush green setting. Admire the rainbows forming in the mist, creating a stunning, serene scene. Next, you visit the Jago Temple and end your day with an exploration of the Goa Tetes cave, known for its unique rock formations. Overnight at the hotel near Tumpak Sewu.

You start your day by heading to nearby waterfalls. Be amazed by the spectacle of the cascades and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Then you are transferred to Bromo. It’s in the night, around 2:30 a.m., that you set off for an extraordinary excursion. By 4×4, you gain altitude to reach the perfect viewpoint to watch the sunrise. It’s with stars in your eyes that you see the mist gradually evaporate, revealing the volcanoes Bromo and Semeru. You then go to the crater of Mount Bromo and cross its vast sea of sand. Take the time with your guide to scramble around. Then it’s time to head back down, have something to eat, and set off toward Ketapang. A well-deserved rest for the rest of the day.

A new ascent begins in the night, around 2:00 a.m. Still by 4×4, you’ll discover Mount Ijen at sunrise. At the foot of the volcano, you take a light snack, and then you climb on foot to the summit. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, with gas masks on your nose, you reach the world’s largest acidic lake, in the Kawah Ijen crater. You’re amazed by the lake’s fascinating colors and its blue flames.
