Board the magnificent green and cream Eastern & Oriental Express carriages at Woodlands Station, in Singapore. Settle into your air-conditioned cabin and admire the train’s refinements: cherry-wood panelling, Malaysian embroidery, and Thai silks. You’re cocooned in a luxurious showcase of Oriental culture.
The train sets off, and you gaze at the lush landscapes rolling past as your steward serves you a delicious tea in your cabin. As night falls, dress for dinner and enjoy locally inspired dishes in the dining car, followed by entertainment in the lounge-bar carriage.
LANGKAWI
While you enjoy your breakfast in the dining car, your luxury Eastern & Oriental Express train travels through rice fields and rural villages, offering a timeless panorama of western Malaysia.
After lunch, disembark at Alor Setar station for a boat excursion to Pulau Payar Marine Park in Langkawi. Discover the vibrant underwater world and enjoy wellness experiences: massages, meditation, and tai chi. Try paddleboarding, snorkelling, or take a stroll on the island. Soon after, your train journey comes to an end: you cross the strait to arrive in Singapore. Disembark and leave the luxury Eastern & Oriental Express train, taking with you unforgettable souvenirs.
The Pullman Cabin measures 5.8 m². In the evening, the seats from the “day” configuration convert into upper and lower berths for the night configuration. All cabins are air-conditioned. They feature a shower, private toilets, a hairdryer, and a personal safe.
A State Cabin measures 7.8 m². Day seats convert into two single beds at floor level at night. In the evening, the seats from the “day” configuration turn into twin berths side by side for the night configuration.

“The Presidential” Cabins are the largest, measuring 11.6 m². The seats in the day configuration transform into two single beds side by side in the night configuration.
