TORONTO
(Friday)
Take a direct flight to Toronto from France, available on request. Upon arrival, join the Toronto city centre Express train from the airport. Spend the night at the hotel located in the Toronto city centre.

Enjoy a free day to explore Canada’s largest city. Visit the Toronto Islands, located just off the city, for a lovely stroll. Enjoy the Ward’s Island beaches and walk or bike to Central Island for a fantastic view of the Toronto skyline.

(Monday)
Spend the day on board the trans-Canada train with all meals included. Admire the scenery of Ontario and Manitoba from the panoramic dome car, which will delight you with its beauty. The time change (-1 hour) extends the experience, making the days longer in the Toronto-Vancouver direction. Arrive in Winnipeg in the evening, where a short stop is planned before continuing your Le Canadien train adventure.
MANITOBA
(Tuesday)
Spend the day on board the trans-Canada train, with all meals included. Each time you cross a provincial border in Canada, the landscape and the vegetation change. The vast Manitoba fields give way to the flat, green grasslands of Saskatchewan. From the panoramic dome car, the change in scenery is very clear. Different lighting throughout the day creates a continuous show. Join the small talks and tastings organized in the dome car throughout the day.

At 6:30 a.m., you arrive in the magnificent Canadian Rockies. The trans-Canada train stops in Jasper and will remain at the platform for about 3 hours. You can calmly have your breakfast before setting out to explore the area. You may leave your baggage at the hotel reception; your room will be available at 3:00 p.m. A shuttle will take you to the cable car. With your skip-the-line ticket, reach the summit of Whistler Mountain at an altitude of 2,200 metres in just a few minutes. Have lunch on site (not included). Return to Jasper by shuttle at your convenience, and enjoy a free afternoon. Explore Jasper and go for a short hike. Spend the night at the hotel (Breakfast).

During this day, board an Ice Explorer! This vehicle is specially designed to travel on glaciers. You’ll discover the Athabasca Glacier, one of the six main glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, a true gem of the Rockies.
You’ll also visit the powerful Athabasca Falls, the Peyto Lake, Bow Lake, the Crowfoot Glacier, the Glacier Walk, Lake Louise and the Glacier Skywalk.
A hot buffet lunch is planned during the tour. Return to Jasper for the night at the hotel (Lunch).

The day is dedicated to discovering the most spectacular region of the Jasper National Park (duration: 5 hours). The first stop is the Maligne Canyon, a 49-metre-deep gorge formed by 10,000 years of erosion. A short walk will take you to the Maligne River, where the canyon floor is dotted with roaring waterfalls.
From the canyon, continue to the Medicine Lake, known for its mysterious disappearance, and then reach Maligne Lake. A 90-minute cruise will take you to Spirit Island, an iconic island in Canada. After the cruise, enjoy some free time to relax or enjoy a meal at the lakeside chalet.
If you prefer, you can also go for a hike along the boardwalk trails along the shores of the Maligne Lake.
ALBERTA
(Saturday)
At 9:30 a.m., board the Le Canadien train again to complete your journey to Vancouver. From your compartment window or from the dome car, admire the Rockies and Mount Elbert (4,401m) in all their splendour. Watch the canyons, the dense forest and the waterfalls as they pass by. Brunch is served between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the dining car. Spend the day and night on board.

At 8:00 a.m., the trans-Canada train arrives at Vancouver Pacific Station. Have your final breakfast on board before leaving the Le Canadien train for your personal discovery of Vancouver, the capital of British Columbia.

Enjoy your day at leisure for a personal discovery. As an option, you can arrange an excursion for whale watching or visit Capilano Park with its famous Suspension Bridge. These activities will perfectly round off this train journey.
